Kenmore Park Infant & Nursery School is an ambitious 3 to 4 form entry multicultural school with high aspirations for its learners and staff.

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant with excellent literacy skills to support our learners in a number of different roles - please see the advert attached. .

Specific Purpose & As and when Teaching Assistants are required, who are flexible and able to support in class, deliver interventions and  provide support to SEN learners with varied levels of need.

TEACHING POSTS FROM SEPTEMBER 2024:   We are looking for a teacher for EYFS. Teachers post ECT will be required to also lead a foundation stage subject area. (See advert and application process below).

Salary range: Scale G02 / Point 8:  from £9,042.70 to £19,593.78 (0.3579 to 0.7721 FTE) per annum term time only

Salary range reflective of working hours which will range from 15 hours a week to 32.5 hours term time only

 

Required to take up post from September 2024 – Term time only (As and when TA’s/ Early Years TA must have a level 3 qualification /Specific purpose fixed term TA, SEN contracts may be offered)

Hours:  Monday to Friday hours to be confirmed based on the needs of the school, role allocated and individual learner/s (Term time only)

EYFS teacher from September 2024.

The Governors wish to appoint ECT / experienced infant school practitioners from September 2024.The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Ambitious, innovative and inspirational teaching qualities.
  • Excellent classroom teacher who enjoys leading learning.
  • A track record of raising achievement of all groups of learners.
  • Experience of teaching/leading learning in EYFS (Nursery/Reception).
  • Good understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
  • Experience of working with EAL pupils and those with SEND.
  • Strong use and experience of using formative & summative assessment to inform planning and provision for learners.

Ability to work closely alongside colleagues within the EYFS phase to plan learning and activities to accelerate pupil progress in preparation for the next phase of their learning journey.
